Salvation Prayer - The First, the #1

From all prayers we can make to God, why should we say that the salvation prayer is the #1?

Well... #1 is related to the beginning of something; like for example: a baby's first day of life... first grade... first day of class... just to name a few.

If you had never before prayed to God from your heart, but you want to do it now for the first time, then the Salvation Prayer will be your #1 prayer that will help you to start a relationship with the Almighty.

It will not only be your first prayer, but will also become the most significant and important prayer you will ever make... get ready then!

Below you will find a prayer where you will:

Salvation Prayer - The First, the #1

- Accept that you are sinner,
- Accept that God loves you,
- Accept His forgiveness of your sins,
- Accept His salvation plan for your life, and...
- Accept Jesus in your heart as your Savior.

So, without further delay, analysis or objections, pray like this:
"God, this is my first prayer to you and I'm doing it because I need you.

I accept that I am a sinner and therefore out of your family and your kingdom. If I should die today my life will be lost forever and I do NOT want that... I want your eternal life!

But the Bible says that you love me so much that you gave your son's life so that he may die for my sins... Jesus did it instead of me!

Although I can not understand the magnitude of this sacrifice, nor the depth of your love for me, I can only humbly accept the gift of your salvation.

I accept your forgiveness for my sins. I confess with my mouth that you Jesus Christ are the Lord of my life, my only Savior; and I believe in my heart that the Spirit of God raised you from the dead.

For all of this, I now proclaim that I am saved and I have the right to be a child of the Heavenly Father; I now belong to your family and become a heir of all your blessings.

Thank you God. Thank you Jesus. Thank you Holy Spirit.

Amen!"

Congratulations... let me say that again... CONGRATULATIONS!!!

You have just performed the "Salvation Prayer" and you are now part of God's family where I happen to be your brother. We don't know each other, but from now on we are brothers in this eternal faith.

This will forever be your #1 prayer and becomes your first step to start knowing your beloved Father God, his Son Jesus and his precious Holy Spirit.

... by the way, did I tell you THEY LOVE YOU SO MUCH? ;)

Now, in one of the last lines of the prayer you declared: "become a heir of all Your blessings". Sounds good, doesn't it? Those are not just simple words but actual spiritual rights that you inherit for believing in the unseen God. Many of those blessings are due to become tangible and visible, it all depends on you.

- Where are those blessings written?

You will find them all in the word of God, known as Bible. All you have to do is read them and believe that God is able to perform as He promises you.

These subjects might be new to you:

- Effective praying,
- God's character and
- Bible studying

Therefore, I would strongly encourage you to join a group of people that love God, in order to learn about all the benefits, privileges, rights and even responsibilities that you have in God's huge family.

Lastly, in case you are curious to know where did I get those lines to pray with? Let me share with you the Bible verses that inspired this "Salvation Prayer".

- John 1:12 "But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name".

- John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life".

- Romans 3:23 "... for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God".

- Romans 5:8 "But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us".

- Romans 6:23 "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord".

- Romans 10:9 "...that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved".

- Ephesians 2:8-9 "For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast".

    1. You actually can not.

      - Why? This is actually a PERSONAL prayer that all of us must do it on a voluntary basis. Nobody is forced to.

On the other hand, YES you can pray for your beloved ones - or anyone you wish - so that God can reach their lives in one way or another. When they finally say, "Yes I need God"; then each person can make the Salvation Prayer voluntarily.
