Prayer to Start Classes

This Prayer to Begin Classes is for the student and/or teacher who will ask for God's blessing.

We start classes and we need your blessing.

Bless us with your presence in our midst, and give us intelligence in our minds.

Join us in the studies, with you we will be strong and we will not fear challenges in letters and sciences.

We trust in you, O Lord, with all our hearts, and we do not rely on our own intelligence.

Your will be done with our talents and abilities; and lead us on the right path of excellence.

You are with us, therefore help us to turn away from evil, because this is the beginning of wisdom.

Holy Spirit, teach us all things, especially the most difficult topics and subjects to understand.

Lord, we love you, therefore we ask that all things work for our good, because we will do your will.

Help us to do everything with humility, not out of selfish ambition or vanity, but considering others as valuable classmates.

Help us to study in peace, without worrying about anything, presenting our prayers in the face of all challenges, and giving thanks because you will support us.

Help us study, do practical work and presentations with our best effort, as if it were for you.

We start classes with your presence among us, so we will have the best year of studies.

Prayer to Put Out Fires

The flames are devouring everything in their path, so let's pray together to put out fires.

This catastrophe will affect human beings, animals and vegetation.

Who caused it? Was it lightning, an accident, or was it intentional?

That doesn't matter now, what we need is a miracle.

Pray like this...

Heavenly Father,

Today I join thousands who are praying for the fire to be put out in (mention the place).

This area is a magnificent work of your hand, a marvel of your creation.

Now the wonder you created is suffering; the trees suffer, the animals suffer and the inhabitants of that region suffer.

But tomorrow, we will all suffer, because if these flames do not go out, we will lose a vital lung for this region.

The human race is so fragile oh Lord, if those precious trees are consumed, what can we replenish them with?

Have mercy, O Lord, and send your rain, send abundant water from heaven to put out the voracious flames.

Send a storm of blessings so that the evil that advances is stopped by the waters of your mercy.

I and all of us who get up to pray say:

Fire, be turned off!

Clouds, start raining and stop the destructive fire!

Prayer to End Extreme Heat

Say this Prayer to End Extreme Heat in view of the fact that the ambient temperature is very high, and it is dangerous for health.

The prayer describes the discomforts and risks of this climate, but it also draws on the promises of Isaiah 49:10 to seek God's power.

Heavenly Father,

Please have mercy on us.

Please make an end to this extreme heat that consumes us and endangers our health.

Many suffer from dehydration.

Other exhaustion, fainting, burns, and rashes.

Heat stroke is dangerous because it accelerates the pulse, causes dizziness, nausea, confusion, and even death.

Lord, don't let this heat continue.

Please close the sky, send your clouds and your rain.

Let the temperature drop and we will praise you for your mercies.

Remember that we are your daughters and sons in this country.

Your word promises that we will not suffer from thirst, nor will the scorching heat nor the sun hurt us.

You are good, have compassion and send your fresh winds here where we are, and we will raise our gratitude.

You rule over the heat, please make it end and away from us.
