Christmas Prayer for the Family

An excellent tradition for the holiday season is to make a Christmas prayer for the family.

In this prayer you will find the opportunity to share with your loved ones, several famous biblical passages that are linked to the birth of Jesus.

These verses are: Isaiah 7:14, Isaiah 9: 6, Zechariah 9: 9, Micah 5: 2, Matthew 1:21, Luke 1:37, Luke 2: 10-11, Luke 2: 13-14, John 3 : 16 and Galatians 4: 4-5.

Share a line of this prayer with each member of your family, so that everyone can be a part.

All right, pray like this ...

"Heavenly Father

How big is your love!

- Thank you for your plan of salvation, because in Mary the sign of your magnificent work was seen; she being a virgin conceived and gave birth to a son.

- Thank you because a child was born, you gave us your son; and the domain is over his shoulder. His name is Admirable Counselor, Strong God, Immanuel, Eternal Father, and Prince of Peace.

- We are glad today! We give voices of celebration! Behold, our King came to live among humanity; He was fair, victorious and humble.

- God, thank you for Joseph and Mary, who obeyed your plan to give birth to a son; Jesus, who would save everyone who believes in Him.

- Thank you for the angel Gabriel, who declared: "nothing will be impossible for God."

- Praise you, O Lord, because your good news of salvation fill us with joy.

- Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace among men of good will!

- City of Bethlehem, although you are small among the families of Judah, the ruler of Israel came out of you; whose origin is ancient since the days of eternity.

- Oh, how great is your love for this whole world, that you gave your only-begotten Son so that everyone who believes in him will no longer be lost has eternal life.

- Your son Jesus was born in the perfect fulfillment of time. He was born of a woman, was born under the law, was born to redeem everyone, was born to be adopted, was born so that today we are also your children.

Oh, how big is your love!

Amen"
